Frogatto 1.0 Released! (July 13th, 2010)
Frogatto is a “platformer” or “jump-and-run” videogame. Like many older arcade/nintendo/sega titles, the world is viewed as a cross-section seen from the side, and your character walks and jumps between solid platforms, whilst avoiding being hurt by monsters. We’re not a clone of any specific game; although just by being a platformer, it’s impossible not to have something in common with games like mario or sonic. So we are trying to innovate a bit.
Frogatto is also the protagonist’s name. It’s eponymous. They plan on improving it significantly, but version 1.0 is out.
Frogatto was written for computers (windows, mac, and linux), and the iPhone. We made the iPhone port, because it was the easiest port. We’re open to the idea of PSP/XBoxLA/Wii ports, although it’s unlikely, because they would be a ton of work. We’re not open to a DS port – the screens are too small, and we’d have to redraw most or all of the art.
To run it on a computer, you need OpenGL support, and at least Windows XP, Mac OS 10.4 or linux with good OpenGL drivers. The game will run if you’ve got at least: 40mb of ram, a 500mhz CPU, and a graphics card at least as good as the first ATI radeons. Basically any computer made in the last decade should be able to run it.

Up Arrow: Open doors and talk with other characters
Down Arrow: Crouch
Left, Right Arrows: Walk (Two fast touchs, he runs)
Key (A): Jumps
Key (S): Tongue
Key (ESC): Exits the game or goes back to the main menu

It´s in Portuguese, but it´s really easy to find it there. Then just click to download. EDIT: That post is now also available in english.
